Words of Wisdom

Maqàlàt-e-Hikmat (The Words of Wisdom) are at once the Hadrat Abu Anees’s life story and sayings. The book has the accounts of his family living and upbringing, the heart rending eye witnessed massacre of Muslims during the independence and  partition of the sub-Continent of India in to Bharat and Pakistan (East and West) in 1947, his allegoric narrations as a pilgrim on the path of Sülook (theopathy or journey in to faqr), the hitherto rare glimpse in to the lives of well known sufi masters, the luminaries of Islam and fascinating tales of the not so well-known amongst them, and most of all painful dispatches from the battlefields of major defenders of the early history of Islam, especially martyrdom of Imam Hussain and tragedy of Karbala. These monumental writings are pristinely original, neither borrowed nor copied, the essence of his contemplations, and easy to read and digest. The orientalists have hailed these words as ‘lessons of reality’ which according to the author himself ‘provide spotlights for research in to all fields and aspects of Islam.’

An Abstract of the Ḥazrat-ul-Quds (The Almighty Allāh's Daily Call to  the Humnaity during His  Assembly before Dawn):

Come to Me,                                     lo and behold, whether or not I attend

                                                          to you!

Walk on My Way,                            lo and behold, whether or not I open                                                                       many a vista!

Ask Me for,                                      lo and behold, whether or not I offer                                                                       forgiveness unbounded!

Denigrate yourself for Me,               lo and behold, whether or not I grant                                                                      you rewards unlimited!

Bear with censor for Me,                  lo and behold, whether or not I let you                                                                    have blessings no end!

Give away for Me,                            lo and behold, whether or not I shower                                                                   treasures of mercy upon you!

Sell yourself in My Way,                  lo and behold, whether or not I render                                                                    you precious!

Believe in Me as the

Provider,                                           lo and behold, whether or not I                                                                               make you independent of means!

Shed tears in My Awe,                     lo and behold, whether or not I flood the                                                                rivers of forgiveness!

Fulfill the honour of the

Faith,                                                lo and behold, whether or not I give you                                                                 unlimited grants!

Glorify My Name,                            lo and behold, whether or not I honour                                                                   you the most!

Believe in Me as Al-Ḥayy

-ul-Qayyüm (the Living

and the Lasting),                               lo and behold, whether or not I make                                                                      you the bearer of eternal life!

Annihilate your

‘being’,                                             lo and behold, whether or not I excel you with an                                   everlasting drink!

Finally, be Mine!                              lo and behold, whether or not I make                                                                      everyone to be yours!

If you submit to Me and only, your speech, deed, honour and dignity will then be Mine! And who can bear with My indignation!
